About Me

I’m an avid outdoorsperson and I love exploring, having fun outside and sharing those experiences with others. I’m outgoing, enthusiastic and a quick, flexible learner. I enjoy working with youth and have a passion for teaching people new things.

What I like to do

Right now, I'm a Junior at Westminster College in Salt Lake City working toward a Bachelor's in Outdoor Education and Leadership. Last year, by my rough tally I spent more than 100 nights outside.

I love introducing people to the outdoors and exploring the amazing landscapes surrounding Salt Lake. Currently, my passions are mountain biking, climbing, canyoneering, writing and generally playing in the desert and mountains and sleeping in the dirt as much as I can.

I'm taking the NOLS Instructor Course in May 2017 to become an instructor. I'm excited to work with students in the backcountry teaching them leadership skills, backcountry travel skills, self sufficiency and open their eyes to the importance of our surrounding environment.
